Priyadarshni Academy gave a financial assistance of Rs. 2,500/- for Mr. Rakesh Raval, suffering from head Injury for his treatment at Vibha Care Home.
Shri Chandrakant Dathe his son Vivek is studying in SYBSE. Their financial condition is very poor, as they were not able to purchase the books for Rs.1633/- only. Therefore Priyadarshni Academy paid a bill of Rs.1,633/- for his books.
Priyadarshni Academy gave financial assistance of Rs. Rs. 5,000/- to WOMENS INDIA Educational & Welfare Trust towards the cause of women and children for a nursery school in the slum area of Malwani at Malad.
Educational Scholarships of Rs.10,000/- each were awarded to 27 deserving, needy and meritorious students by the Academy at the Rama Watumull Auditorium, Kishinchand Chellaram College during the Literary Awards & Scholarship Function.
The “Sir Kikabhai Premchand Trust Settlement No. XI th” received Rs. 5,000/- from the Academy to support expenses of Mr. Bhagwan Singh Rana who had critical aortic stenosis for the medical treatment aortic valve replacement.
Rs. 10,000/- was received by “ Dr. Nishigandha Wad Gaurav Visheshank Samiti” for promotion of Indian Arts and Culture from the Academy.
The Academy donated Rs. 1,04,866 towards the upgradation of Science laboratory at the Golden Jubilee Celebration Fund to the College to purchase Five Binocular Research Microscopes costing Rupees Twenty One Thousand for their newly introduced B.Sc. in Biotechnology course.
‘Aashirwad’ a Literary - Socio - Cutural Organisation, Juhu, Mumbai had a 12 th Aashirwad Rajbhasha Dr. Harivanshrai Bachchan Memorial Awards for Journalists and Writers in the Hindi, Marathi, Gujarthi and Urdu languages. The Academy contributed Rs.5000/- towards ”Hindi Divas of Dr. Harivanshrai Bachchan Puraskar 2002 - 03”.
Times Foundation, part of The Times Group, is a convergence platform for NGOs, Government, media and Corporates to raise collective consciousness for social change. The individual to Infinity Academy is an initiative in this direction to facilitate and promote spiritual and self - development programmes. The Two-day workshop was held. The Academy paid Rs. 500/- was attended by Ms. Gwyneth Alphonso, Senior Executive Officer, Priyadarshni Academy .
Sadhu Hiranand Navalrai Academy’, English Medium School at Kutch imparts education to the children belonging to middle and lower middle class families. Priyadarshni Academy agreed to give Rs. 5,000/- towards adopting one-students annual expenses towards purchase of books, uniform and payment of fees etc. for one year.
Scholarships : Priyadasrhni Academy gave a Kala Gopaldas Mahbubani Scholarship of Rs.10,000/- as Educational Assistance towards Computer Training for two deserving and needy students of the National Society for Clean Societies - India.
Cancer Patients Aid Association had organized the Charity Film show, jointly with Indian Merchants’ Chamber on September 6. 2003. Priyadarshni Academy donated Rs. 10,000/- to the Cancer Patients Aid Associations for the Charity Film Show of the Association for the betterment of cancer patients.
Ms. Jotika Jagasia who has secured admission for studying PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy at University of Virginia Teach, U.S.A. and Priyadarshni Academy gave Rs. 10,000/- towards the Tuition Fees for her PhD. She was working as a Professional Social Worker with Aastha Counseling Centre, a field action project of Cell for AIDS Research, Action and Training Care Project of Tata Institute of Social Science.
Shri. Subhashrao Mhaske of Parbhani who is woring for SETU Charitable Trust, had been advised major surgery of his both Hip Joints. His operation was performed at the J. J. Group of Hospital, and he received an assistance of Rs. 4,000/- from the Academy towards his surgery at the Hospital.
‘Bombay Salesian Society’ Don Bosco- Matunga- Mumbai received Rs. 5,000/- from the Academy towards the Charitable Works of continued service to the poor and underprivileged people of our country undertaken by the Bombay Salesian Society.
Shri. Ram Sharan D. Singh suffering from chronic Kidney failure. He was under dialysis at Lion Kartar Singh Hospital , Andheri, Mumbai. He received an assistance of Rs. 4,000/- from the Academy towards treatment of dialysis.
Priyadarshni Academy supported the efforts of Mr. Rajendra Ohja by donating and advertisement of Rs.8,500/- towards the Hindi Cinema Year Book 2003 which included and art of Smita Patil Memorial Award that was presented to the best Actress during the Priyadrashni Academy Global Awards.
The Second National Convention of Institutions Accredited by NAAC was held from 28 th to 30 th March, 2003 at Hotel Centaur, Juhu Mumbai. The Academy supported the event with a half page advertisement in the souvenir. This Convention was being jointly organized by NAAC, Bangalore, and the Accredited College of Maharashtra, hosted by the Accredited Institutions of Mumbai - Half Page Advertisement of Rs. 5,000/-.
The Academy extended sponsorship support of Rs. 13,650/- towards venue for Transavatar performance in Sophia Bhabha Hall, Mumbai by Attakkalari Centre for Movement Arts (Bangalore) and Imlata Dance Company (London) in encouragement and support of Fine Arts and Culture.
The Academy extended support of Rs. 5,000/- to International Institute for Sustainable Future, as they are organizing a saeminar on one of the most significant issues of transport in cities – Mobility 2003: Challenges of Sustainable Urban Transport on 26 – 27 February 2003 in Mumbai.
The Academy extended support of Rs. 5,000/- towards the co-sponsorship to the cultural programme “ SANSKRITI MAHOTSAV”, the fine art organisation ‘Nupur Zankar’ a presentation of KATHAK Recital by Smt. Shri. S. S. Mishra, suffering from Chronic Pulmonary Tuberculosis and under treatment at G. T. Hospital , Grant Medical College , Mumbai since two months. He is a poor person, needing medical care for nearly 18 months. The Academy donated Rs.10,000/- for his medical expenses.

The Academy gave an amount of Rs. 5,750/- to Media Computronics towards the payment for Sindhi Software that has been installed at the “H. R. College of Commerce & Economics”, Churchgate, Mumbai in order to promote and sustain the Sindhi language among the students.
Navleen Kumar, The Social Activities who had along with her late husband, Mr. Murli Kumar courageously fought and died in the cause for land riots and deprived tribals. The Academy gave Rs. 5000/- towards the cash award which will be given to her children to honour her posthumously for the tremendous work that she had done in her life.
Shri Mohan Midha Shamim, Programme Producer was suffering through Brain Hamerage and under treatment at Jaslok Hospital, Peddar Road and has undergone major Operation, received an assistance of Rs. 7,500/- towards his treatment from the Academy.
The Academy gave Financial Assistance in education for Master Abhishek A. Kalekar, towards the Tuition Fees who was studying in the VIIth Std. in the Raigad Military School, Mahad, Dist. Raigad. He received an assistance of Rs. 5,500/- towards his studies.
