Scholarships :

In support of education, scholarships are awarded to poor and meritorious students at School and College levels as well as for professional courses such as, Medicine, Engineering, B. Ed.

Awareness Programmes :

- Organised several inter-school and inter-college essay and debate competitions.
- Workshops and Seminars on drug addiction, Aids and other issues relevant to the student community.
- Environment friendly programme like tree-plantation drive by the students.

Promotion & Encouragement of Young Talents :

Promotion of Young and talented artiste such as upcoming painters, classical dancers and musicians by organising their first shows with the appropriate awareness programme for the same is one of the academy's important goals. The Academy has undertaken a project called "National Integration through Dance and Music" to promote young talented artists by presenting their recitals in a series of concerts. The first concert was organised by Priyadarshni on 26th June, 1999 at Jai Hind College auditorium in collaboration with Jai Hind college. It presented recitals in Kathak, Kuchipudi and Bharat Natyam dance forms by Ms. Ranjana Phadke, Ms. Padma Tatapudy and Ms. Nandini Krishna, respectively. It was a memorable and joyous experience for the audience to witness the presentation of the three dance forms by the talented artists. The recitals received a great response and deep appreciation from the Media and connoisseurs alike.

The Lamp of Learning :

Priyadarshni Academy provides educational scholarships to deserving and financially needy school and college students,as also to Medical and Engineering students.The Academy has not only given a helping hand to those who have no means to support their learning process but has also organized personality development activities for the students like essay ,debate and drawing competitions to inculcate in the young generation, a healthy positive and dynamic attitude towards life . The Academy also assists educational institutions in organizing Workshops and Seminars. Free books have been provided to the children in slum areas.
